10" Cutting Pua Melia is what I'm called in Hawaiian, but Plumeria is my botanical name. My popularity among the islander speaks for itself. I'm a very popular lei flower. This is because of my delicate fragrance and the fact that I'm long lasting as a lei. This Plumeria plant is a very hardy plant and requires but little care. The leaves will apear the first year and the blossoms should be out the second year. Each year they will shed their leaves and new healthy ones will re-appear. The size of the container will depend on the size of your Plumeria plant. Here in Hawaii, it will grow up to 20 feet in height. Choose from 4 Hawaiian vibrant colors: Pink, Yellow, Red and White. Growing instructions will come with cutting. Growing instructions: Obtain a container with drainage holes. Place 1 to 3 inches of gravel or stones on bottom of container for good drainage. Use a media of equal parts of top soil and sand, fine gravel or our Hawaiian Volcanic Cinder Lava Rocks makes a perfect medium! It grows well in open sunny areas. Water the plumeria when media is dry. Do not over water. Give small amounts of general fertilizer once a month. ***UP TO 4 CUTTINGS CAN BE SHIPPED FOR $8.50 PRIORITY MAIL. |
