The Hawaiian Ti is a good luck plant, rich in Hawaiian history.  The early Hawaiians used Ti to make hula skirts, wrap and store food, and also as roofing for their homes.  It is thought to ward off evil spirits and is a symbol of divine power.  It is also is a popular ornamental plant. 

Growing instructions will come with your plant.

Growing instructions:  Trim wax from ends.  Place cutting horizontally in a dish with water covering cutting halfway.  Change water once a week until roots sprout.  When roots are 2" long, transplant in pot with good drainage in sandy soil or other commercial media like our Hawaiian Volcanic Cinder Lava Rocks.  Keep soil moist at all times.
